Luiz Del Monte (born March 9, 1980) is a Brazilian football player, nicknamed Dynamo because of his dynamic style. Luiz is currently playing as midfielder for Three Kings United in the Lotto Sport Italia NRFL Premier. He played for Auckland City FC at the 2006 FIFA Club World Cup.[1]

Luiz Del Monte played in Brazil, United States, Finland and now in New Zealand. Luiz left Brazil in 1999 to pursue a soccer scholarship at a University in America. He enrolled at Harris Stowe State College in August 1999 and played there for 2 very successful seasons, winning AMC Freshman of the Year in 1999 having scored 13 goals as Harris Stowe claimed the State Championship title. Luiz then transferred to Creighton University where he played for another 2 successful years and graduated with a double major degree in International Business and Finance.
Luiz was awarded the Jack Batty Memorial Cup, presented annually to the player adjudged to have made to most positive impact in the Chatham Cup final, as his team from Central United won the 80th Chatham Cup on September 2, 2007 in Auckland, beating Western Suburbs 10-9 on penalties after extra time.[2]
Luiz Del Monte was part of the squad of Auckland City FC to represent New Zealand in the Oceania Champions League. Auckland won the Oceania Club Championship 2006 held at North Harbour Stadium by beating AS Pirae 3-1 in the final. The Oceania title ensured Auckland City FC to play in the FIFA Club World Championship 2006.[1]
